Khamkeut Saen-Oudom Gold Mining Sole Co., Ltd. (KSO) was established in 2010 and forms part of Phonesack Group’s mining operations in Lao PDR. Located in Khamkeut District, Bolikhamxay Province, the company is engaged in gold exploration, mining, processing, and related technical activities. KSO focuses on responsible mineral development while supporting economic activity and employment opportunities in the surrounding area.
KSO operates an integrated mining and processing operation supported by geological exploration, mine planning, ore extraction, laboratory services, processing facilities, and operational support teams. Geological surveys, sampling, and technical assessments are used to support effective mine planning and responsible resource utilization. Gold-bearing ore is processed through controlled crushing, grinding, recovery, and related processing stages, supported by technical expertise and quality-control systems.
The company continues to strengthen its operational capabilities through improvements in equipment reliability, workforce skills, safety management, and process efficiency. Environmental considerations are integrated into operational planning, with attention given to responsible land and water management, monitoring activities, and appropriate environmental controls throughout the mining and processing lifecycle.
